India is gearing up for a wave of new electric vehicles set to hit the roads in 2024.

This comprehensive set of electric mobility options includes the much-awaited Tata Curvv EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX, Tata Harrier EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, and Mahindra XUV.e8. 

The Maruti Suzuki eVX, touted to carry a 60kWh battery and dual motors, promises an impressive range of 550 kilometers, setting new standards for electric vehicles. 

Positioned between the Nexon and Harrier electric versions, the Tata Curvv EV is estimated to offer a range of 400 to 500 kilometers, making it an exciting player in the market. 

On the other hand, the Tata Harrier EV, sharing design inspiration from the ICE Harrier SUV, is also set to feature a 60kWh battery pack and a promising range of 400 to 500 kilometers. 

The second-generation Hyundai Kona Electric is not far behind with an estimated range of 377 kilometers backed by a 48.4kWh battery pack. 

Lastly, the Mahindra XUV.e8, the electric spin-off of the popular XUV700, will run on the INGLO EV skateboard platform and is projected to boast an 80kWh battery pack with a range of 450
